HAWAII DEC 08...

I was In Hawaii for the start of the season this year.  Straight off the plane the airport was quiet and my ride was nowhere to be seen.....Surf had to Be pumping.  So after a few phone calls and no answer from anyone i Decided to Hitch a ride out to the north shore......Not an easy task with boards and a ton of Camera gear!!

Yep...I was right perfect 8 - 10 foot pipe peeling off was the sight i was greeted with.  Threw my Bags at my friends place and straight out shooting for 10 hrs straight.  not much sleep for 3 days but when the north shore is firing you have to get out there cause it may be it for weeks.  After 5 full days of 8 feet plus with some 15" plus, Shooting all day and editing at night, sleep was sort of taking a back seat. 

 The North shore was Buzzing and so were the shapers! they had a very busy couple of weeks id say. Everyone was  calling one of the best start to the season they have seen for years.
